Getting started

Register
Confirm your email address and tell us a little about your Business One. Your licence key appears on screen and we email it to you as well.

Install it in Claude Desktop
Download the server from your account and add it in Claude Desktop’s settings, under Extensions. Fill in your Service Layer address, company database, B1 user name and password, and your key.

Ask
Ask Claude about your Business One in plain English. It looks the answer up in your live data, and only ever reads.

Before you register
Is it really free?+–
Yes. There is no trial period and no end date. The free edition reads from Business One and answers questions in Claude Desktop. The full B1 MCP Server adds sign-in for your whole team, live dashboards and worklists, actions when you allow them, and an audit trail.
Why do I have to register?+–
So we know who is using it. Each licence belongs to the person who registered, which is also how we can help you if something goes wrong.
Can my colleagues use my key?+–
A licence covers you on up to two computers. Colleagues register for their own, which takes a couple of minutes.
What does it tell you about my installation?+–
When it activates, and about once a day after that, the server checks its licence with us. It sends the computer’s name, your SAP installation number, the company database, the Service Layer’s host name, and the server’s version. Your Business One data never comes to us: the server talks to your Service Layer and to Claude, nothing else.
What if the computer can’t reach the internet?+–
It keeps working for about six weeks after it last checked in, then asks to be reconnected.
What do I need?+–
Claude Desktop, and SAP Business One 10.0 with the Service Layer. A B1 user with read access to what you want to ask about is enough.
