The first release of the free edition. Install it in Claude Desktop and ask Claude about your SAP Business One data in plain language: customers, items, orders, invoices and the rest.

Read-only, and your permissions apply

The free edition reads from Business One through the Service Layer. It cannot create, change or delete anything. It signs in as your own Business One user, so Business One still decides what you can see. A user with read-only permissions is a good choice.

What is in it

  • Four read-only tools: list what you can query, run a query, fetch one record by its key, and look up the fields of any Business One object.
  • Three starter prompts: an accounts receivable ageing report, open sales orders by customer, and a tour of any Business One object with sample records.
  • A one-file install. In Claude Desktop, open Settings, choose Extensions and drag the .mcpb file onto the page, then enter your licence key and your Business One details: the Service Layer URL, company database, user name and password. Claude Desktop runs it, so there is nothing else to install. The install guide has every step.

Your licence

  • Each licence covers 2 installs. See and release them at www.b1developers.com/account.
  • It checks your licence with b1developers.com once a day. If the computer cannot reach the site, it keeps working for about 44 days after its last successful check.
  • You can point it at another Business One company or server. The move is recorded against your licence, and it keeps working.

Your data

Business One data goes to Claude through your own Claude account. None of it reaches B1 Developers. The licence check sends only your licence key, an install ID, the computer's name, the SAP installation number, the company database name, the Service Layer host and the program version.

Requirements

Claude Desktop, and SAP Business One with the Service Layer. Tested with SAP Business One 10.0 on Windows.

The free edition answers questions in the chat. Live dashboards that stay connected to Business One, writing back to Business One, and sign-in for a whole team come with the full B1 MCP Server.
