New things to sell the B1 customers you already look after, with the person who built them beside you.
I'm looking for up to five smaller SAP Business One partners to sell and install B1 Developers products with me. You get software your customers don't have yet, a margin on every licence, and me directly, on your first demo and your first install. It's an application rather than a sign-up, because five is a small number and I'd like each one to work for both of us.

About ten minutes to apply. I read every application myself and reply to each one within a week, yes or not yet. 5 of 5 places open.

WHERE I AM, HONESTLY
I can't give you what the big partners ask for. Not yet.
The bigger B1 partners want reference customers, case studies and a support desk before they'll put a product on their price list. That's fair, and I can't give them that yet: AP Automation and B1Flow are taking their first customers now.
So I'm asking the partners who weigh things differently. If you know every one of your customers by name, decide things in a week rather than a quarter, and would rather have the developer's number than a portal login, I think we can do well by each other.
What I can't offer yet
- A shelf of case studies. The first ones will be your customers and mine.
- A partner manager, marketing funds or a certification programme.
- A support desk with shifts. There's me.
What you get instead
- The person who wrote the software, on your first demo and your first install.
- Answers from me by the next business day, not from a ticket queue.
- A say in what gets built next, because yours are the customers it's built for.
- Your name on this site as a founding partner, if you'd like it.
WHAT YOU'D SELL
Four products, all built for Business One and nothing else
AP Automation, B1Flow and the MCP Server run on your customer's own server beside Business One 10, through the Service Layer, on SQL Server or HANA. Custom Importer is part of the B1 Tools add-on.
B1 AP Invoice Automation
Taking first customersSupplier invoices from email or a folder, read by AI, coded the way the customer's own team codes them, and posted through the Service Layer with approvals.
Finance teams keying hundreds of supplier invoices a month.
B1Flow
Taking first customersA workflow engine on the customer's server for the jobs somebody does by hand every week: invoices out, debtors chased, stock reordered. Dry run first.
Wholesalers and distributors with repeat orders and stock.
B1 MCP Server
Free edition out nowQuestions in plain English, answered from live Business One data in Claude, with each user signed in as themselves.
Managers who wait on reports and exports to answer a simple question.
B1 Custom Importer
In use todayReusable mappings that bring whole files of transactions into Business One in one pass, checked against live data first.
Anyone importing from spreadsheets or other systems.
WHO IT SUITS
A smaller B1 partner with customers in mind and someone who installs
- You look after live Business One customers today, and you're the person who can say yes
- Two to fifteen people on B1 is the sweet spot, but a one-person practice that installs is welcome
- Most of your customers run Business One 10 on SQL Server or HANA, with somewhere to install beside it
- Someone on your team installs server software: Windows services, Service Layer users, SQL logins
- You have a customer in mind, and could put one product in front of them within ninety days
- You'll tell me what customers actually said, including no
AND WHO IT DOESN'T, YET
I'd rather say so now than after a call
- You need references, case studies and a partner programme before you can list a product. That's fair. Come back in a year, I'd like to hear from you then
- Most of your customers are on Business One 9.3 or older, or hosted where nothing can be installed beside B1
- You'd like the products on your price list without anyone on your team learning them
- You sell something that does the same job and mean to keep it. Tell me on the form anyway: sometimes there's a customer it doesn't suit
HOW IT GOES
From your application to your first customer
- 01
You apply
about ten minutes
The form below. The question that matters most is which customer you'd show first, and what it would fix for them.
- 02
I reply
within a week
Yes or not yet, and why. If it's yes, my reply has a link to book a call.
- 03
We talk
45 minutes on Teams
Your customers, a demo of the products you ticked, and how the margin, support and your partner area work.
- 04
Your first customer, together
within ninety days
I join your demo and do the install alongside your consultant. After that you lead, and I'm behind you.
THE TERMS
Two ways to work, and the same terms for all five
Most Business One add-on vendors don't publish their partner margins. I'd rather you knew before you apply than found out on the call.
Resell and implement
30%
off list, for the life of the customer
You order at your margin in your partner area and invoice your customer yourself. Your services are yours to price and keep: installation, training, building workflows.
Introduce and step back
15%
of the first year's licence
You introduce a customer and I sell, install and support them. For a partner without an installer, or a customer outside your usual work.
Either way
- A free licence for your own demo company, for each product you sell
- Your own partner area: add customers, start trials, order at your margin and download licence files, without waiting for me
- Customers you bring are registered to you, and I don't sell to them around you
- No fee to join, and no minimum
- To start with you pay for a licence when you order it. After a few orders we can move you to thirty-day terms
WHY ONLY FIVE
Because I'll be on your first demo and your first install, and five is what I can do properly while I keep building the products.
When the places are gone this page will say so. Applications that don't make this round stay on file, and I'll come back to them.
WHAT I ASK IN RETURN
You're the first five. I need to learn from you.
- One product in front of a real customer within ninety days
- First-line support for your customers: you know their Business One, I know the product
- Thirty minutes a month with me for the first six months: what customers said, what was hard, what's missing
- If it works, a few sentences I may quote, with your name beside them

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
Edu van Zyl
I've built software for SAP Business One since 2011, from a small company in Brisbane, and I've worked in IT for almost thirty years. I started out as a consultant working on Business One, which is where the first of these tools came from. For the founding five, the person you apply to is the person on your first install and the person who answers your questions after it. That's me.
QUESTIONS PARTNERS ASK
Before you apply
Do we need to be an SAP partner?+–
No. Independent Business One consultancies are welcome too, as long as you look after live customers. Your customers' SAP licences stay with whoever sells them today.
Is there a fee, or a minimum?+–
No fee to join and no minimum volume. What I ask is one product in front of a real customer within ninety days, because that's how we'll both find out whether it works.
What will our consultants need to learn?+–
AP Automation, B1Flow and the MCP Server each install as a Windows service beside Business One and talk to it through the Service Layer, so whoever installs should be comfortable with Windows services, Service Layer users and SQL logins. I walk your team through each product before your first customer, and do that first install with them.
You're a small company. What happens if you're unavailable?+–
The products run on your customer's server, not mine, and a licence that can't reach me keeps working: if my licensing server were down for a few days, nothing installed would stop. Beyond that, it's a fair question and worth asking me on the call. I'd rather you asked it than wondered.
Could my customers buy from you directly instead?+–
A customer you bring is registered to you in my licensing system and stays yours. I don't sell to them around you, and only I can move a customer from one partner to another.
We're not in Australia. Does that matter?+–
Not in itself. I work with partners on Teams and email from Brisbane, so Australia, New Zealand and Asia are easiest, and the UK and Europe work with an early or late call. Tell me where you are on the form.
